As acting is doing, what else is there to say?
Isn't my art my statement?

Art seems to pose the question and the answer at the same time. The process is, for me, putting myself aside and seeing what is left--I just happen to have a creative monster living inside of me. It is my responsibility to define a vehicle that encompasses the light and the dark; one that can transfer the gift and the curse at the same time--like the poison and the antidote all in one.

Since I was a kid, I liked the sensation of the tip of the pen touching the paper. Whatever happened after that, I practiced non-attachment. My breathing slows. I become heavy and melt into the vibration of the moving pen. 20 or so pages later...I don't know...

I burned them or gave them away until I met Paul, and now I am not burning them anymore, and we are working on the giving away part. Both are about letting go--the claiming of my non-attachment to the outcome.

I prefer ephemeral art. What an irony to be in movies--movies are forever...
